A US military officer has resigned in protest against Washington's support for the massacre of Israel in the Gaza Strip.

The name of the retired humanitarian and humanitarian is Harrison Mann. Anadolu Agency reported this information in a report on Tuesday (14/05/2024).

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, more than 35,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7 last year. Most of them are women and children. The number of injured people exceeded 78 thousand. According to the United Nations, the Israeli occupation of Gaza has left 85 percent of the territory's residents internally displaced amid acute shortages of food, clean water and medicine. Also, 60 percent of the region's infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.

Palestinians are living in a humanitarian crisis due to the ongoing conflict. In the absence of food, water, medicine and essential humanitarian assistance, more than 2.3 lakh residents of the valley are suffering from extreme hunger and severe malnutrition.
